working on my first blog Posted by Hello

blue waves

The efforts come initially as a form of a ripple, converging with other currents that turn into waves. For the last four years, tapping on meager resources and a Pandora's box of passion and good intentions, a small group of women are creating waves in the movement for curbing gender-based violence. This dynamic group calls itself, GWAVE, or Gender Watch Against Violence and Exploitation.

But we need more currents to connect with ours.

On JUNE 18, 2005, we invite kindred spirits to join us in a seminar-workshop on the situation of women and girls in Negros Oriental, on the new laws protecting women, and on the ways that we can bring about hope for genuine gender justice.
